How to..
How do I create my own icons?
Icons in NeoMap are basically small pictures with the following rules:
- Icon dimensions must be 32 x 32 pixels (if other it will be resized)
- Color depht does not matter
- Supported formats: "JPG", "GIF" and "BMP"
- Transparancy is mapped to pure white RGB(255,255,255)
- Adjustable color is mapped to pure black RGB(0,0,0)
To make your own icon open your favourite paint progam and create a picture with the size 32 x 32 and paint anything you want on it.
If you want some parts to be transparent (see through) then paint those parts with pure white color. If you want parts of the picture to have an adjustable color in NeoMap
paint those parts in pure black. Save the icon in either .gif, .jpg or .bmp format and place it in the "icons" folder in your NeoMap installation.

Trouble shooting
NeoMap crashes when I try to open my file, what should I do?
If NeoMap crashes while trying to open a database file then the file is most likely broken. There is a change to recover the data from the corrupt file.
If you have a broken file you can send it in for recovery. There are no guarantees that any data can be recovered from the file! To request a recovery send an email to recovery@redcellcorp.com attach the file and provide a short
explanation of the case.
All recovery cases are confidential, any recovered data will only be sent back to the email from which it came from and then deleted, all cases are logged. The recovery service is free of charge.
I get an error when trying to import my password protected file.
You cannot import password protected databases.
What format should the CSV file for import be?
NeoMap can import Comma, Semicolon and Tab separated CSV files. The data must be in the following order (note field is optional):
[X Coordinate] [Y Coordinate] [Item Name] [Item Note].
NeoMap complains about missing file; MSSTDFMT.DLL
If you get the following error:
Runtime Error '713'
Class not registered.
You need the following file to be installed on your machine. MSSTDFMT.DLL.
then please update to the latest version of NeoMap.
If you still get the same error then download the MSSTDFMT.DLL file, place
it in your system folder (usually "C:\Windows\System32").
Now press the Windows Start button, select "Run..." and type in "regsvr32 <file>", replace
<file> with the path to your MSSTDFMT.DLL file.
